about

art

Alexander Kohnke’s art work is ab0ut the inevitable and primitive forces that rule fate. The clash of order and chaos. The attempt at freedom of choice vs. the control of our lives by external forces. Armed with a keen aesthetic and a sense of humor, Kohnke works in drawing, photography, printmaking and video to create work that is deeply personal, yet shows that we are all connected.

& art for hire

Alex’ graphic design practice focuses on artist’s books and branding projects, as well as collateral, mostly in the cultural and sports fields.
